We are a cohort of Filmmaking Students that have come together with our tutors to produce a Feature Film during our final year at University. We believe we are unique in this venture.
Futureworks' second Feature Film Is being made by students from the School of Film alongside students from the School of Sound and Music and the School of Art and Design. The film idea was created with students from the Independent Filmmaking programme. As part of the module the students came up with the original idea for the film and the outline of the story and plot. Throughout the year the film has been the focus point for the teaching and this has been recognised by British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies (BAFTSS). This is a unique project that will not only teach students the art of micro budget filmmaking but help launch the careers of the next generation of filmmakers while informing and enhancing pedagogical practices in higher education.
When the criminal justice system fails her a young rape victim agrees to a clandestine meeting to prevent another trial in the civil courts.
